First one to 50. The players are really trying.

This is what I am thinking:
Ten matchups or so a year are set up to be played during the NBA off season. The fans vote on who they would like to see in each matchup with a player being allowed to participate in a maximum of three matchups a year. Their is also an interactive catch to it all if one player is blowing out another then fans can text message in a vote to bring in a second matchup they feel would be more competetive.

50 is probably to long lets let em play to 24 ( the games need to be atleast somewhat long so ticket buyers will feel they are getting something for their money.) Also if the other player is within five points then they play a three minute overtime. If the fans got bored and voted in a second matchup it would only be to 15. Also their is 20 second shot clock.

I'd like to see a one-on-one competition added to the all-star weekend. I think it would be fun but no way would I pay a full ticket price to see it.

I would pay to watch them go 1 on 1, but not to 50. 1 on 1 games usually go to 15. If they played to 15, I would go with that pay-per-view. Matchups like Kobe Bryant vs. Dwyane Wade, or LeBron James vs. Kobe Bryant will definitely draw huge audiences.

I would pay up if it was on pay per view and you got to see a few "good" one on one match ups. However I would have to think twice if it was just one game.

I would rather see that then the actual games, and they sort of have that, they have 1 vs 5 when ever Kobe plays, cause he never passes. lol
