Why do people always want to compare players...stop, there's only one M.J. , theres only one Kobe, and there's only one LeBron James....just because there are very talented players out there doesn't mean they are going to be they next MJ. They are who they are and that's what makes them, them.

I am sorry but i have yet to see another player quite like Michael Jordan. Whoever said Dirk is a complete idiot and Lebron is like everyone said too young. Neither can he do the things Michael did. All the dunks he invented and all the game winners. Michael and Kobe are different players. Kobe is good but a ball hog. He wont make his team better because he doesnt make everyone around him better like Michael Jordan did. He made Tony Kukoc better and made Luke Longley and Scottie Pippen better. He is the most amazing player i have ever watched play.

I don't know if you guys watched the first time MJ went against KB. But Jordan really believe that Bryant would be the person to fill his shoes, once he retired from the NBA. Jordan liked his game, even complimented him.
I think Kobe Bryant needs to talk to Michael Jordan, he needs a mentor. I don't think he's ever had that in his life. High School coach aren't good enough to teach you basketball.
Like everyone said, Jordan is Jordan, Bryant is Bryant, James is James. They are all different. But Kobe Bryant comes close to be the Next Michael Jordan.

What did Lebron do? He didn't prove crap because MJ didn't even come close to having a bad series like Lebron did and plus no not even Kobe Dirk Levron...NOBODY!!! is better than MJ even Magic and Barkley said nobody is better than he was ever!

Kobe is never going to be like MJ. Shaq was MVP for their championship run not Kobe. MJ was the MVP for the bulls. MJ played with rejects like longly, Harper, Pippen and Kerr
None 0f those Guy did any better on other teams Kerr was a bench warmer for the spurs Pippen couldn't win with barkely for houston and for Portland with Rasheed. Nobody can compare to MJ in basketball smarts he was the complete player defense and offense

kobe is kobe. mj is mj. if anyone is good enough to be so famous and so good the shouldnt be recognized as "the next" so and so. they should be recognized as being them and having their skills. everyone is themselves. lebron is the current lebron not the "next mj"

Lebron proved that he is an all star player
but he proved that he is not an MJ type player
Kobe is way beyond MJ's league bro...dude has accomplished far more with average teammates...im sure MJ would cry out of his team if he ever had teammates like Kobe does
