I am having a tough time finding the qualities of an MVP. Should it not be the best and talented player in the entire league who people pay to see put on a spectacular show. Who if I may add, can take over games when everyone tends to fade away from the scene. I would like to hear from you all? In this case, I am referring to the NBA MVP.

Aside from the obvious revenue generated from ticket and jersey sales, how do NBA teams afford to pay not only its players, but also its coaching staff, millions of dollars in cash on a yearly basis? I am aware that the team owners are the ones providing the paychecks, but at the same time, their teams must also be a profitable business in order for them to continue running the teams. So all in all, how do the teams make their money?

Kobe fans are way to uptight. They call me a racist because I said that Kobe got Buss to hire Colonel Sanders to be his coach.....lol. That's not racist, that's FUNNY! ........and believe me, I'm not a racist. I looove chicken, watermelon, chittlens, pig feet, gin, big butts, & people say that I resemble Denzel Washington. I started to lose my jumping ability by not playing as much of course. Well me and my friends were playing a game of pickup and I said something like, back in the day I could dunk. They were like NOOOOOOO way you could never dunk, blah blah blah, and calling me a liar.

So you know what I did.... I went to the gym every morning before work for 45 minutes a day and JUST worked my legs and basically all my jumping muscules. Then 5 months later when we played....which was today, I threw down this dunk that was so clean, it was unbelievable. That means I dunked it really good to anyone that doesnt know that terminology. You should have seen the look on their face.

Pretty cool huh???

Please talk basketball and basketball only. Not about his personal life. He did not rape as the justice system found him innocent. His wife (I know he bought her expesnive gifts, but they resolved it and its their life and they have another child now and they are doing well) and his family forgave him, so the adultery issue is behind everyone. Move on from the past!

James worthy committed adultery, Julius Irving and Charles Barkley committed adultery, so he isn't the only one. Even MJ was accused of one by his wife in 2002...his relationship with his wife deteriorated and they eventually divorced this year.

Tell me why ppl hate kobe basketball wise. I'm open minded. I'll take the answers. But do keep in mind that he does have a below average supporting cast . And he regularly works hard and demands double teams to set up good looks for his teammates and they miss shots and thats why he gets frustrated and takes over the game.

I think his injury has to proven it so, how the Heat are doing so well with out him, and last years MVP wasn't earned but handed to him by the refs. So that the NBA can make money since he was the more marketable over Dirk hence all the commercials. Or am I being a bitter Mavs Fan?

Ok I play on a rec team for my school and Im pretty good but Im looking for some help because I am a big man but still I was a big man 2 years go to and I could score 18,20,22 points a game 3,4 steals 1,2 blocks 5-10 rebounds

but now Im getting 2,4 points a game 1,2 steals 1,2 blocks 2-5 rebounds

So does everyone no anything I can do to get my game back

Also Im looking For a summer league in Michigan (macomb county)
