Absolutley agree even though the outcome was not in my favor, but it was a great and exciting game especially with the talks about Dirk and Nash being the top candidates for the MVP. It just added fuel to the fire and now I think it is safe to call those two teams rivals even when Dirk and Nash are considered best of friends on the court it is a different story.

In NBA history, I do not think so. Possibly one of the better overtime regular season games this year. But there have been many great overtime games in the history of the NBA. Lakers vs. Celtics (Magic and Bird days). Nets and Pistons(2004 Playoffs). Phenoix and the Sonics ( 2003-2004)I am sure there are many more. The Mavs/Suns game was a very good game, but to be the best in history, I would have to disagree.

most definatly! that game was awesome. you had nash dishing the ball out to Staudamire but at the same time scoring points for his team. and on the other end you've got Dirk ALL over the place down low, free-throw line, three-pointer, getting rebounds, blocking shots. amazing game, definatly one of the best that i have ever seen.

It became an instant classic, it was shown this past Friday on ESPN Classic. Can you imagine a 7 game series with these two teams against each other?

no. because it wasnt a playoff game, nor it meant a spot in 1st place. (suns were 3 or 4 games back).
maybe one of the best Reg. season games. but not a best game ever. but one of the best intensity games ever.
i think all games in the NBA Finals ever were a better game then this.

i don't agree, i think the 1 with the pistons-knicks was much bettrer
