UCLA
Sports Illustrated dis a tourney a few years back with all the best players from every program. They had UCLA beating UNC in the finals.
Reggie Miller, Baron Davis, Bill Walton, gail Goodrich, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Marques Johnson, Walt Hazzard, Jamaal Wilkes...
It would be a close game, but UCLA has the players, depth and the COACH!

UCLA and North Carolina, definitely. With Jabbar and Walton, UCLA produced two players who were better college players than anyone North Carolina ever produced. And both the Bruins and Tar Heels would be very, very, very deep teams.
You make a good point with LSU though... and you didn't mention Bob Pettit, who was the first NBA player to score 20,000 points. Also, I believe LSU was the only school to produce three NBA "Top 50" players (Shaq, Maravich and Pettit).
But go with UCLA against North Carolina in a final. Both teams are deep, but who needs depth in a one game final? Jabbar, with Walton coming off the bench, would would be unstoppable.
I'm not sure any other schools really come close to UCLA and North Carolina when it comes to producing top-flight NBA players on a consistent basis.

If we're talking about sheer talent from top to bottom, it's University of Kentucky hands down. Close to 80 players from Kentucky have played in either the NBA or ABA (we're talking about when the ABA was in it's hayday):
Current NBA guys: Rajon Rondo, Antoine Walker, Tayshaun Prince, Nazr Mohammed, Derek Anderson, Kelenna Azubuike, Keith Bogans, Jamaal Magloire, Chuck Hayes
Former NBA/ABA guys: Rex Chapman, Tony Delk, Jamal Mashburn, Dan Issel, Walter McCarty, Ron Mercer, Scott Padgett, Mark Pope, Cliff Hagan, Frank Ramsey, Louie Dampier, Kenny Walker, Sam Bowie, Cliff Barker......I could literally go on for days.
Hell, even World Championship Coach Pat Riley for the Miami Heat is from Kentucky.
Kentucky always seems to get picked over for this, but people neglect to consider the guys that played before the Jordan era. Between Rupp's Runts that went into the NBA/ABA, they have a few league championships between them. That's some serious talent.
And the 1996 National Championship team is touted as one of the best college basketball has ever seen. Of the 15 players on the roster, over half of them were drafted and had success in the NBA. Four of the five starters that season were drafted in the first round of NBA drafts they declared for; three of whom were drafted in the first round following their championship season.
Not even the 1991-1992 Duke teams or the 2004 North Carolina class that left early were that deep.
People always bring up other schools because of the notable high-profile NBA players they produced. But give me Coach Pat Riley at the helm of the 1996 Championship team that was drafted with the edition of Tayshaun Prince and Rex Chapman.....and it'd be money, trust me.

I'm a UNC fan, so I've got to say UNC.
PG - Phil Ford. Try stealing the ball away from him.
SG - I'm going out on a limb here and gonna say someone you probably haven't heard of - Michael Jordan
SF - James Worthy - Not that well known, but I hear he was pretty good back in his day.
PF - Sam Perkins - Another decent, but not well known, player
C - Robert McAdoo - great Center for UNC
Bench -
Rasheed Wallace ; Billy Cunningham ; Lennie Rosenbluth ; Antwan Jamison ; Ty Lawson (soon to be MVP of the Final Four)
