I read in the news that Roger Clemens has one of those with the Astros, but they never did provide any detail about what that meant. How can he still have a contract with the Astros but be playing for another team? Does this mean he still receives money from the Astros or what?

Pettitte admitted to using HGH, although Clemens has denied it, it does appear that he too used HGH, adrenalin, and or other steroids. When this cheating was happening the Yankees had a staff member who was responsible for buying the drugs and sticking the needle into the buttocks of the guilty players. Should the Yankees be punished for allowing this to happen, and what should be there penalty?

personally, I doubt it, because if he denied usage on the stand, and then was found to have used, he would be subject to perjury charges and he would go to jail.

Additionally, I am not sure they could find a courtroom where his enlarged head could fit through the door (bada bing!)

In the end I think he'll make some noise and then back off.

what are your thoughts on this?

..knowing that they were on steroids by simply looking at their instant bulk? By cheering them on and loving the game of baseball, are we just as guilty for our conduct as the players?

I don't understand this. He looks he genuinely believed that he took hGH to heal the injury. But why did he take the illegal route?

What do you think baseball could do to get their fanbase back, especially now after the madness of this past weeks steroid/hgh accusations. Baseball will always have its true fans but what do you think they could do to get the general public interested again? http://www.baseball-almanac.com/ws/wstv.shtml
