Even through the Chicago Cubs were 85-77 this year, but never doing my lifetime have they ever made it to the playoffs 2 years in a row. And I doubt it will happen next year, where they will make it to the playoffs for 2 seasons in a row. So they will go back to thier useless ways. Plus the fact this season, under 2 different mangers they have had surpise seasons in 2003 and 2007, in yet they have failed to end thier drought of not winning the World Series, after having bad seasons in 2002, and 2006. Not that I am saying that the Chicago Cubs are a good team, but I am just pointing out the sad reality.

The Indians. They seem to have the same thing going on for them as the 2006 Twins did. Cy Young winners (Sabthia and Santana) Young pitching stars (Carmona and Liriano), Gold Glove outfielder (Sizemore and Hunter) and young lineup who all mostly had breakout years in the same season. Now Sabathia hasn't always been consistant. He will struggle this year. Martinez, Hafner, and Sizemore will try to lead the team as Morneau, Mauer, and Hunter tried to do this year. Things will just fall apart for them. The young guys will go back to bad hitting. almost everyone on the team will probably struggle. Just like the Twins had this year. They had a good team in 2005, too. But in '06, they had am=lmost everyone back, and they did horrible. This isn't really the most consistant team in the league. Just because a team makes a league championship doesn't mean they'll do the exact same thing. In fact, the four teams that made the league championship last year (Tigers, Mets, Cardinals, and A's) didn't make the playoffs this year. Trust me, pitchers will learn to outsmart the younger players and the Indians will collapse. So my opinion for your question is that the Indians will collapse.

The Tigers and the Indians. I dont think the tigers can stay healthy. They also have no bullpen Zumaya will be out at least until July they need pen badly. Dontrelle Willis is so overrated he is just an average pitcher. Sure he has some very good games but so does everyone else. The Indians have pitching and after that not much. Dont get me wrong they have a great big three Hafner, Martinez, and Siezmore but they still have no left field. I cant trust Garko, Cabrera,Hafner and Martinez. Hafner's numbers went way down last year and Martinez has a great season then he doesnt then he has a great season then he doesnt, his year is choosen out of a hat he is so random it isnt funny. The Twins, and Sox will fight for that division.

No good team is going to have a bad season next year because if they have a bad season they are a bad team an if they are a good team they will have a good season.

I would have to say the NY Mets for several reasons:
1. Starting pitching is thin. Lost Glavine, Pedro is aging and may not be able to bounce back and several others could go either way.
2. Have not made a trade thus far and all their attempts to do so have failed due to lack of talent in the minors.
3. Failure to lure a major free-agent to the team when they could use either a starter or reliever.
4. Confidence is low due to their late season collapse.

I would have to say the Yankees. They didnt prove themselves last year and they have a lot of talent. They talked about improving during the off season, but they came out with most of the same players(plus losing Clemans). Another team that might not produce in the 2008 season is the Tigers. They are personally my favorite team, but if they dont pull together their bullpen then they could run into some problems. But with the pick-ups they've made they should make it to october.

maximum suitable is a precise 3 or 4 seed interior the playoffs, and making it to the eastern convention finals. possibly even win it if the warmth someway get knocked out. Anthony performs like an MVP. Worst case is a low seed back, and a known around loss back. The group has little chemistry and the coach would not proceed from the place he left off final season.
