a company online accidently oversold a product I bought- a chipper jones signed baseball card that was about $45.00. When there was a problem getting me one, they requested if they could send me instead an 8x10 signed picture of him that sells for almost twice as much.

i have been told that the picture is not worth as much as the card. is this true? :( Why would it sell for more then?

What the heck! Why don't we just make it a requirement that everyone takes steroids and then nobody will have an unfair advantage. As I heard somewhere, "if everyones a Super, no one is"

I say they stayed the same because all they have done minus Hawkins is re-sign their own players. It was a good job by management getting them signed, but they haven't done anything to make their team better.

The game was the reds vs houston in a double header, at Cincinnati, the Reds won both games. There were rain delays, and it was in the 60's.

here believes him that he only used it once? At least Canseco came out and said he used them for years. Their is no way Roberts used them once. In order for them to work, someone has to be on a cycle of them, which requires multiple injections. You agree?

the St. Louis Cardinals choked again by letting Eckstein go. He was only the 2006 Series MVP...I say it pays to keep a guy like that around, no matter what he wants.

I would like to know if people have heard of these cds that are Baseball Voices, and what they are are cds that are put it tribute to baseball annoucers, so far play-by-play men, that are in Baseball's Hall of Fame for broadcasting. And Chicago Cubs radio play-by-play man Pat Hughes puts these cds together. So far he has done Harry Caray, Jack Buck, Marty Brennaman, Bob Uecker, Harry Kalas. The last 2 are new cds that has brough out. You can check them out on-line at http://www.baseballvoices.com . Just to make sure I have thier webs site in this post, have you heard of these cds, and would you reccomend them to other baseball fans, please tell me why or why not? If you order through the website, along with each cd(s) you buy, Pat Hughes autographes little slip covers, along with a big peiece of paper, that he also wrtes a message on. I know that he does this, because I have purchased cds, and he has also signed each little cover I purchased to me.

The inescapable conclusion of the Mitchell report is that baseball is incapable of policing itself, government intervention mandating independent testing is necessary. The union had players stonewall the investigation. Only players named were those using lacking the foresight that their suppliers would get caught and they would have documentation backing their claims.

Baseball has no incentive to police itself, with higher turnover, stars more frequently injured and out longer will cause the public interest to flag, would adversely impacting revenue streams. The players looking for the multimillion dollar paydays don't want that threatened either, most know they could get replaced for less money.

It's all over. I've a confession to make. Ever since I've been on here, I've been a fraud. I don't know ANYTHING about baseball. It's all been steroids. I'd juice up in the morning and then get on here and let the steroids do their work. I pull answers out of the air and made questions up out of nothing -- all this time. Now I'm going to do it the old school way. I'm going to read about baseball. I'm going to follow baseball. Can you all forgive me? Can you believe I'm sorry and wish I'd never started?
