im telling you, were fine, weve made the moves we needed to make, we got more offense, and thats all we needed
our pitching is great, in fact should be better this year than last, our bullpen wont be as strained because garland is an innings hog
we still have tons of speed, and dont worry aybar will bring plenty of speed, loosing oc wont hurt there
hunter can hit 30 homeruns, and the best part is, garret will now be able to be dh a lot, allowing him to stay fresh, no more hip pointers
the defense should be amazing, certainly the outfield defense could be considered the best in baseball, kotchman is great defensively, kendrick has another year under his belt, aybar/izturis will be fine at short and figgins played capablt last year
mathis and napoli are both very good defensive catchers as well
quite freaking out, we will be quite good next season, there shouldnt be too much competition within the division, i thikn boston wont be anywhere close to as dominant this season as they were last, detroit is better but their bullpen is far inferior to ours, and i think we can play with cleveland, so we are going to compete for a wrold series berth, bet on that

You need a hitter who can protect guerrero......the last time the giants were ANY good, moises alou was protecting barry, and they had a few other guys who could swing a decent stick.Once moises went downhill with injuries and such, they just started walking the hell out of Barry. So, who do you need???Uh, Barry would be a good start. Or sosa wouldn't be a bad pickup. You should be able to get either guy cheap(relatively!) with a stacked incentive options plan.If
the guy hits, he's gonna get paid; if he sucks, you haven't lost much....Personally, I'd try to sign them both, and they could share DH and an outfield spot, on occasion.Could you imagine having to face barry, vladdy, and sosa?wow

The Angels have plenty of offense and I believe if they got Johan Santana they would be the team to beat in 2008. Offense gets you to the playoffs and pitching wins championships.

I suggest doing lots of pretty women. Oh, did you mean what? In that case, I think trading ONE young pitcher for someone who can hit would help. (i.e.
Rolen)
