a company online accidently oversold a product I bought- a chipper jones signed baseball card that was about $45.00. When there was a problem getting me one, they requested if they could send me instead an 8x10 signed picture of him that sells for almost twice as much.

i have been told that the picture is not worth as much as the card. is this true? :( Why would it sell for more then?

it is a signed picture as opposed to a signed card. i do not know if it is an orignal picture probably a duplicate of a picture.

yeah the guy apparently already shipped off the 8x10 so i am screwed. i should have spent more time looking into things before i let myself get taken advantage of. people suck.

Check with the Miller Boys, they deal in all kinds of autographed sports memorabilia.

It really depends on how many autographed Chipper cards were produced. The fewer the cards the higher the value. An 8x10 autographed picture of Chipper carries a value of about $50 and the card could actually have a higher value based on supply and demand.

Actually, this is a little more complicated, is the card a trading card issued signature from upperdeck or topps?

They have much value than any signed 8X10, because you know the signature is real, any signed 8x10 is probobly not a real signature....let me guess, you bought this on ebay didn't you.

I would get your money back, and buy the signed card somewhere else.

depends on how many people around the world are listing the same product on eBay.

I think you'll have to pay someone to take it off your hands.

About ten cents. Maybe, if it's in good shape.
