If i was a Met fan i would be pretty ticked off.

2008 season ticket holders get priority on seat selection for 2009 ticket packages in the new park. That's a pretty big incentive for buying 2008, and the Mets are exploiting it.

Ah, capitalism.

I suppose they do have nerves, that is why they are raising there season ticket prices. So far the Mets have not addressed there problems on the field such as pitching. The Mets will continue to not address there problems and for sure expect another season of disappointments.

The Diamondbacks, Braves, Dodgers and Astros have all improved significantly this offseason. However, the Mets have become worse. As it stands now, they have absolutely no chance at making the playoffs.

A fourth place finish and they are going to raise prices for the fourth year in a row

I do not think they care. They think everybody makes as much money as the players do. they will probably will be happy when the seats are empty. They know the tax payers will bill them out

This is how it works. If you want your team to be good, and sign players, they have to charge you more to go. This cannot happen in KC, but can happen in big market towns.
In return for good teams you have to pay more.
