Baseball - May 2007

Twice in the last 3 games the Rockies have hit homeruns that bounced outside the park and got called doubles. Baseball really needs to at least put an ump out there to get the right call. It almost cost the Rockies the game the other night, and now they should have had the lead going to the bottom of the 9th and will not. I am so sick of the dang umps missing calls, and screwing teams over.

They never do it with McGuire before he breaks a record. It was always pure satisfaction. McGuire was only brought back to put a slant on Bonds years later. Your thoughts?

Giambi went on TV and made an apology. Now that he is hitting again but people think he stopped juicing. When it comes to Bonds, people thinks he is still juicing and been juicing all his baseball career. Why ?

I have a play that i would like your input on. There is one out with runners on second and third , a fly ball is hit by the batter , the runner on third is tagging but the runner on second just started running. The center fielder catches the ball ...the guy on third tags up and scores. The fielder then throws the ball in and the shortstop steps on second . The umpire calls the catch a out and the appeal at second the third out. The runner clearly scored before second was stepped on. Umpire says run does not score.......was that the right call? This call went our way , but i don't believe it was right. Thank you for your imput.......
