derek jeter. He is overrated as a plyer but he is a good role model. He has written books (with another author) for children that are inspirational and motivate you to follow ur dreams. In the book, "The Life you Imagine" he has a whole chapter on not cheating or doing drugs (not roids becuase this was written in 2000; but he made me convinced he is clean).
He tells kids to always try for the top but not to sacrafice everything for it. He said that being open with your parents is a good thing. etc. etc. He is a team captian.
No, I'm not a yankee fan.

jeter. yes i know, boring. I'm actually a phillies fan (Chase Utley and Ryan Howard, woot!) but I like the yankees too (boo red sox). so yes, I like Derek Jeter.
