Actually Rose managed from 84 until Aug 89, so he should get some credit for that 90 team. He finished 2nd each season from 85-88, obviously 89 had a lot of distractions, they finished 5th.

KEY to the 1990 team was the bullpen. The Nasty boys.
Dibble, Charlton, Myers.

Rijo and Browning were solid
