I like the Tigers but I thought they had kind of a fluke season. They did great in 2006 but I just have a feeling they won't make it far into the playoffs, if they even do make the playoffs.

I am writing an original oratory on the pros and cons of being left-handed, and I wanted hard, concrete evidence as to why left-handed pitchers are "better" than right-handed pitchers. I know the lefty vs. lefty advantage, and I know the advantage left-handed batters have against right-handed pitchers, but I could never find a good reason why lefty pitchers are so valuable. I used to be a pitcher....but that was in 6th grade, when left-handed or right-handed pitchers stunk...

I really don't want to see him retire, he was a great player, and I'm not even much of an Astros fan. I just wanna see him sit on that invisible bench in the batter's box for at least one more season...

He's spending over 100 million just getting to the playoffs, how much will it take for them to get to the World Series and predictably lose?

It's probably the best in the NL. They only offense that might be better is the Mets. Not even the trio of Beltran, Delgado,Wright can beat the trio of Lee, Ramirez and Soriano. I've also heard that its a homerun or nothing lineup. Wrong. The other 5 players, Jones, Barret, Isturis, Murton, and Derosa can score runs without hitting a homerun. The lowest average of the 5 in their last full season was .285. Jones and Barret combined for like 43 homeruns. Except maybe shortstop, this offense is terrific.

Derek Jeter lost, Justin Morneau won, fair and square. There was no fix, Morneau simply had a bigger year. Yankee fans are also saying how great he is, being so classy. If you are going to complement someone on their class, you probably shouldn't be such pigs yourself. If Derek Jeter is a good guy like you people say, I would bet my life that would frown upon you Yankee fans. How about instead of living off Derek Jeter's class, you get some of your own. He was able to shrug off losing an award he didn't deserve, so why cant you?

(Don't even try to tell me that you guys aren't. Half of the questions here are from pissed off Yankee fans going on rants.)

to get Alfonso Soriano and Carlos Lee, the Cardinals will the Central again without big, money hungry overrated players. (Note: Soriano isnt overrated, power, speed, awesome outfield skills, ideal player. Like Pujols is!)

The New York Yankees are going to go after all the free agents that are available right now even though they dont need them and they'll still lose in the playoffs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And my question is, Why are the Yankees such a horrible baseball team when they have the highest payroll in the Majors? Giambi, Jeter, Arod, Randy Johnson, Abreu! Hell that would send the Cubs to the World Series!
