It's probably the best in the NL. They only offense that might be better is the Mets. Not even the trio of Beltran, Delgado,Wright can beat the trio of Lee, Ramirez and Soriano. I've also heard that its a homerun or nothing lineup. Wrong. The other 5 players, Jones, Barret, Isturis, Murton, and Derosa can score runs without hitting a homerun. The lowest average of the 5 in their last full season was .285. Jones and Barret combined for like 43 homeruns. Except maybe shortstop, this offense is terrific.

The best in the NL r u kidding me? First of all Ramirez is a free agent so he's prolly gone. With him gone I dont see ne protection for Lee since soriano will prolly lead-off. And lastly Soriano alone can't make an offense great,(the nationals wasn't) and from what I remember once Lee went on the DL ur cubbies had the worst offense in da league. So plz dont get ur hopes up cubby fan, because in order for the cubs to make a comeback u r goin to need to have Prior and Wood playin like they did in 2003.

The taking off pitching continues to be in question. except Zambrano and Hill no human being is certain who will fill the different slots. Cotts is a lefty professional, timber is going to the bullpen, and earlier properly who's conscious if earlier is going to be healthful. Wade Miller is a threat yet he's coming off an harm. As for the offense i wish Soriano would not bat lead off and play middle field. and that i wish they could signal Zito or Schimdt. we will basically ought to be certain...

Because people are morons. I wouldn't say their the best, but definitely top 5 in the NL. They'll see what the Cubs' offense is made of. All we need is a few SP and we're a World Series caliber team.

because the NL sucks even tho the cardinals won the ws. Notice the record lows on the people who actually even cared to watch the ws or playoffs. The AL when you get good big market teams is always going to draw more money and better palyers

well, it is not spectacular. shut your bitching up and wait till the season starts. then we will see everything. you cant just assume just because they have soriano, lee, and ramirez that there going to be terrfic. what if lee gets injured again? ramirez has had hamstring problems in the past and soriano can get injured as well. u never know. we just have to wait till the actual season, then we can say something about their offense. we dont have the numbers do we, wait till the season starts.

Well if Alfonso Soriano can't help the Nationals get into the playoffs what makes you think he can help an even worse team (not to be rude but the records tell the truth) get into the playoffs?

Where are the Cardinals on that list?

Pujols, Rolen, Edmonds, Eckstein.

And the Cubs have Derek "One hit wonder" Lee, Alfonso "my Rules" Soriano, Aramis "I need Weightwatchers" Ramirez. Yeah, Cubs are awesome!

It isn't OK or anywhere near it. They don't even have a centerfielder and the Astros are better along with the Cardinals, Mets and Marlins.
