I don't know why everyone is sooo surprised that Justin Morneau won MVP...I mean look what he did for the Twins. Not even Jeter could have carried his team as much as Justin did. Let's face it everyone-Jeter didn't have his best season and didn't deserve to win the award! Quit crying about it!!! I am a Twins fan and let me tell you...sitting in the Dome on the last day of the regular season was AWESOME!!! The Tigers were playing the Royals and played neck and neck the entire time and it was crazy hearing the Twins fans cheering for the Royals-even when our guys were up to bat. And, then when our game ended and they were still playing and sitting there watching it all unfold with all the fans and the players in the dugout was SWEET. Let's go ROYALS!!!! was all your heard and as they inched closer to overcoming the Tigers again, it got real loud in there. And, that final out!!! The noise about blew the roof off....we're the most dedicated fans you'll find in baseball. Yankees SUCK!!!

I think is a good move, he was signed "cheap" and he´s a great pitcher. That means he´s going to retire as a Yankee and hopefully, elected to the HOF as a Yankee player, with 2 WS rings (227 y 2008), 2 20 game winning seasons (2007 y 2008) and 275 wins.

Youre hearing stories about how they want to sumhow reduce the amount of the bid they made to the japanese team to offset what theyll haveta pay the pitcher.... can they do that? it doesnt seem very fair to everyone else who bid, if they can just all of a sudden reduce how much theyre paying. I think it would be hilarious if it turned out they just did all this to block other teams from getting him.

I think it was in the news a few years ago and they said someone who played for the Texas Rangers had died of a heart attack. I can't put a name with the face but the guy I'm thinking this maybe was an infielder and got traded to a national league team. Help?!
