Rameriz to Atlanta? thats as funny as it is.. well its really just funny.
Braves as always do not have much to play with. Jones, Smoltz and Jones tie up most of their payroll. Glavine on a hometown discount will be about the best FA signing they make
Trades will be their answer. They have guys people are interested in, A. Jones, McCann, Fancoeur (sic) but they should keep hold on too all of those.
They have a decent lineup, should hold that, and somehow find a way to get some pitching, especially bullpen. Smoltz probably would have won the Cy Young if the Braves had a decent bullpen.
*thats a huge stretch, but it does refer to the fact the bullpen cost him at least 6 wins or something like that*
Trades really only begin to happen at the Winter meetings, and beyond, so pay attention from now on.
I am sure the Braves front office have some plans to improve their team, they are not going to sit back. People get so upset that their teams don't do anyhting in the first 2 weeks of the off season. Its 4 months long.

a million. David Wright (through commerce with Mets) - in all likelihood if Jose Reyes returns to the Mets. They stated they could pay interest to all promises. 2. Ryan Zimmerman (through commerce with Nationals) - a lot less in all likelihood the Nats might want to bypass Zimmerman because they plan on truly contending in the NL East. they're searching to spend on adult males like Fielder and Reyes, etc. so that they received't bypass Zimmy. 3. Jose Reyes (through loose organization) - in all likelihood, who's conscious the position he will bypass. The frontrunners despite the indisputable fact that are the Giants and Brewers. 4. Martin Prado (through commerce with Braves) - continuously like Prado, he can play everywhere. yet no longer the offensive improve Detroit is searching for. 5. Aramis Ramirez (through loose organization) - he's a 30 HR chance each and every 12 months. no longer a lengthy time period answer, yet he nonetheless has a sturdy 4-5 years left in him.

dont worry the braves arent known for telling everyone all there business like other teams, they like to keep things under the radar. and yes I believe they will get glavine back they know they need him as for giles he will be traded but they want to wait till the winter meetings and horacio ramirez most likley will be traded they want to clear up some payroll. they also will be making other moves in the next couple weeks remeber the renteria trade last year now that was so unexpected just have fait our rotation is gonna be awsome I just hope they dont trade hudson he still has time to regain his dominance.
hope this helps

A while ago i heard that they were looking to trade 2nd baseman Marcus Giles to San Diego, but i haven't heard anything about that in a while. Unless they are waiting to sign Zito or Schidt, it does not look like they are gonna do anything, all the big bats are dissapearing fast. They could try to trade for Ramirez seeing as how they have the prospects and the Red Sox are looking to move him, and they could throw in Giles too.

The rumor is that they're going to resign Tom Glavine, but don't look for them to throw around any big money for anyone else.

Not yet. But they still may sign Glavine and then the winter meetings begin next week. So, who knows?? They desperately need bullpen help!!

I'm sure they will.
The winter meetings start on Monday, and I expect quite a few trades and going-ons.
That is going to be an interesting week to watch.
