They are trying to make some moves but they keep getting outbid by other teams. They've tried to get Carlos Lee and Gary Mathews Jr, but other teams wanted to pay them way more than they're worth. There is talk that the Gigantes have been trying to get Dave Roberts and possibly Rich Aurilia, both of which can now be had at an affordable price.

I heard a rumor on espn, that they are in trade talks with the Boston Red Sox, about Manny Ramirez. They are not alone, the Dodgers, Paders,Rangers and another team are rumored to be in on the Ramirez trade. Personally i don't see Manny going to the Giants because i don't see any talent they can trade. If that back fires they will sign eighther Bonds or Schidt, if they trade for Manny they will not sign eighther.

Haven't made any yet, except they have rid themselves of that plague, Barry Bonds. That alone will improve the club because they can then concentrate on playing as a TEAM!!
