If all you throw is a fastball I'd say it's a slim chance. If you develop a second pitch that you can through with accuracy, your chances rise. The more blow away stuff you can develop the higher the chances. Another word of advice is ice your arm after each time you throw, it keeps muscles from getting inflamed and prevents injury.

Well, you definitely need to try, but LOTS of people try out for the Big Leagues and LOTS of people don't make it. But still, everthing is worth a try. Also, if you're throwing 75 consistantly, you're probably only throwing one pitch consistantly and that's not a good thing. Work on some more pitches!

youve got a long road ahead of you, but if you can get yourself a few more pitches (keeping speed up) and get your fastball faster that 75, you might be able to. at a tender age of 14, theres no way to know. I through 70-72 when i was 14, and now at 21, i can throw 70-72. but work hard and you can give yourself a chance.

depends..u cant just throw all fastballs unless you're mariano rivera. You need at least 4 total pitches. I'm 15 (a Sophomore) and I have like 6 pitches: 2 and 4 seam fastballs, circle change, curve ball, slider, and regular change. My fastballs at about 78 - 80. So you have to have more pitches other than a fastball. Here's a list of grips that you can work with: http://www.thecompletepitcher.com/pitching_grips.htm

Barley a chance sorry but to much talent and to much risk of getting hurt for pitchers also you need to have more than a 75 mph fastball. add a changeup and curve maybe a slider. wait til you know how to throw them b4 you try so u dont get hurt.

Just keep practicing hard, and you'll keep getting better and better, since you're very young. Who knows, you might make it to the big leagues someday. There are players who were once poor kids playing in the street with makeshift ball and glove that have made it to the major leagues, so anything is possible. Don't give up! Just believe! And keep on trying!

10% of all little leaguers play in high school.
2% of all high school players play in college.
1% of all college players play pro ball.
1% of all pro ball players make it to the big leagues.
Work harder than every one else, bulid the strength in your legs and stay healthy.
Good luck!
