Now that it is long over,

If the Yankees had gone on to win against the Red Sox in 2004, do you think they would've gone on to win the World Series?

And last year & this year, if they hadn't lost to the Angels & Tigers, how far do you think they would've gone?

: )

CNN, Fox News, ABC News and CBS News are all reporting that the FBI and the NTSB have a theory about what happened...

The thinking right now is that a temperal shift in the space/time continuum caused by the Tigers upset of the Yankees in the playoffs altered the very fabric of the Universe to the point that Cory Lidle mistakingly believed that the building he crashed into was instead a time-traveling cyborg from the 24th century hell-bent on destroying the Earth.

Your thoughts?

Jim Hendry has said he will probably hire a manager before the World Series starts. All sources have indicated it is between Girardi and Piniella. Who should he hire and why?

Why did the Tigers beat the Yankees three to one if the Yankees were not a better team? Did the Tigers just have luck on their side and the Yankees did not? Or did the Tigers play with more passion and wanted it more and the Yanks did not. Give me your thoughts.

It was sad, but holy Christ, am I tired of hearing about this.

Really, what more is there to say? He flew a plane into a building. It's sad for him, and for the others involved. Making fun of it is stupid, as is asking an obvious question like, "Isn't his death sad?"

Am I the only one sick to death of this?

These innocent people weren’t even having the fun of flying, so shouldn't we be remembering them too?
So far all I’ve heard is about the loss of Cory Lidle, who enjoyed flying.

I predict Bonderman will pitch and win the final deciding game when the Tigers take it from the Mets.

tg315 challenged me to a bet about the yankees. I accepted. He lost (which is why he's sporting the ole English "D"). It was supposed to be until April, but I told him he could change it back IF The Tigers win The World Series. I am thinking of letting him change it back if the Tigers beat Oakland. The man has suffered enough, should I change my mind and let him go back if The Tigers beat Oakland?

Suppose a young pitcher was really struggling and, instead of the manager or pitching coach, one of the veterans wanted to go out and talk to him . Is there anything in the rules that prevents this?

I mean, they interrupted virtually all ESPN ( http://espn.go.com ) programming today just for the death of some Yankees pitcher that was a former teammate of A's 3rd baseman, Eric Chavez.
