Now that it is long over,

If the Yankees had gone on to win against the Red Sox in 2004, do you think they would've gone on to win the World Series?

And last year & this year, if they hadn't lost to the Angels & Tigers, how far do you think they would've gone?

No, and the proof is that they lost to the Marlins in 2003 in the World Series. The Cardinals had a better team in 2004 than the Marlins did in 2003 and would have whomped the Yankees. Last year, the White Sox would have swept the Yankees as they did the Red Sox, who had an identical record to the Yankees in 2005.

Depends how well thy played,

and all of ya dont boo the white sox.

they just have had a bad season so far.

They would have won in 2004 for sure, because they would have played the Cardinals and swept their sorry asses.

Yes. Then there would have been no need for them to pick up Cory Lidle. So he would not have been in New York yesterday and he would still be alive today!
