Very poor taste. Criticizing a guy for pitching one inning of replacement baseball 11 years ago is disgusting!

I think the biggest difference is that TM was an 11 year veteran and Lidle was a Yankee for just 2 months.

Idiotic. Of course Lidle doesn't compare with Munson in the hearts of Yankee fans, but it's just moronic to dismiss his death as if it's not as "good" as Munson's, or didn't mean as much.

Lidle's death is a tragedy for all involved, and it shouldn't be fodder for a comparison to the deaths of other athletes.

I should add that this is typical of MSNBC - they have the worst sportswriters (especially baseball) of any site I've found. Absolutely horrible.
