Ever Maris's son is backing Howard. Bonds, McGuire and Sosa soiled the sport with their steroids. Mcguire's trainer refused to testify against him. Bonds stopping steroid use is like watching a baloon deflate (plus the way he conducted himself in front of the grand jury). And Sosa was testified against.

Now, we finally have a legitimate "clean" contender and it is being largely ignored. Some peopl say Philly's park favors home runs, but he has hit just as many on the road as at home.

I think Selig and MLB need to step up and change the record book making notations of steroid use for the three mentioned. They had no problem putting an asterick by Maris for all those years.

From 2000 to now, no particular order needed, any position.

Up until about mid-summer, the Toronto Blue Jays were probably the most under-rated ball club in the Major Leagues. Even though they had that deflating 2-8 road trip that virtually put them out of playoff contention, they're only two games back of the collapsing Red Sox.

If Toronto finishes in second place for the American League Eastern Division race, would you take them any more seriously next season?

I gaurentee you, if he had played his career with the Yankees instead of the Cubs, he would have been in the HOF years ago.

Do you guys see the A's vs. Tigers in the ALCS?
I don't, but my dad seems to think so.
I can't convince him otherwise.
What do you guys think?

If all MLB players were paid the same salary, do you think it would change the game? Would it make it better or worse? Fair or unfair?
I think it would separate the men from the boys because they would
have to play for love of the game, not for money.
Also : Would everyone still hate A-Rod if he was gettting paid what all other MLB players were getting?

Has Nomar ever explained why he taps his toes so many times during his at-bats? I count AT LEAST 3 taps per foot every pitch!
That cracks me up! : D

I'm interested in selling it, but what do i have to do? It's been in my family for years and been handed down to me. It's from a San Francisco Giants 1962 game and has the whole team's signatures from that year. What's my next step , anyone?
