Baseball is just a relaxing sport to watch...it's quieter than other sports but not as quiet as golf...if I watch golf I end up fast asleep in the chair.

The extra time between plays and the ubiquitous breaks between innings make it an easygoing, conversational sport. However, I agree with previous respondents to some degree--it can be decidedly not stress relieving depending on the situation. If your team is in a pennant race, that's definitely one of the most exciting situations in sports. With games nearly every day, the standings change quickly. Unlike football, where games are played once a week and then over with, baseball can consume a fan's life very easily.

It's not stress relieving. Trust me, I get more stressed just watching a game.

I wouldnt say its stress relieving, but it definatley is relaxing since its not so brutal or fast paced.

ever because of the fact the early era of baseball, gamers have continuously been chewing on some thing. in the past, gamers could chunk tobacco (consequently spitting it out whilst finished) and now to premote healthful values, the gamers chunk gum and spit it because of the fact it very almost serves the comparable purpose as what the older baseball gamers did. i assume they spit the gum because of the fact they must do away with extra spit.
