I wouldn't trade my sweet A-Rod for anyone in the world!
EVERYONE likes to watch him, whether they love him or hate him.
If he's playing in the game, everyone watches!
If his picture is on the front page of the newspaper, everyone stops to read it! He's such a big draw, he can ONLY be on the Yankees! That's the biggest stage in mlb.
Besides, the Yankees would get the short end of the stick if they traded him because no other player can compare to him. They might be able to trade him for no less than three stellar players, but it's doubtful they ever will.
I'd want Verlander, Inge, Big Papi, Ryan Howard, Nomar, Liriano, Soriano and Manny Ramirez.
Not ALL for only A-Rod, but at least 2 or 3 of those guys would
seem like a fair trade.

I don't see how they could. His salary is too much and his performance has been very good, but not up to the salary he is being paid. I think they would ask for more than other teams would be willing to give up. A-rod may not continue to play at his current level of production for another 2-3 years, who knows? The Yankees may be stuck with A-rod and his huge salary. He will produce very good numbers for them and probably struggle at times in the field. Really too much is expected from him and the salary is probably excessive.

No, A-Rod is a proven threat at the plate. All good hitters go through ruff times(Slump) Put the right players in front of him and after him and it will still make the other team think how they pitch A-Rod, since he can snap out of his slump at any time, even if he doesn't get a hit, the threat of him going deep is always there.

I would if I were on the darkside, but I am a Red Sox Fan. I would trade a-rod and the milkyway(milky cabrara) to the minors. I would dismantle the nyys! GO SOX! A Team With Integrity!

No trade. Granted he has not had the best season. He came at too high a price and frankly I believe that he is just too pysced out. I don't believe that he will come through in the post season but watch him next year and I believe that he will be his old self only in pinstripes.

C'mon, give the guy a break. Maybe he's just in a slump right now or maybe he's just trying too hard and unable to relax and focus. You liked him when he was good and now you hate him? Sorry, but what kinda fan is that? I'm not even a Yankee fan and I feel a bit sorry for him.

no, for some great players, maybe, or yes. give the guy some slack. he won mvp last year. people say he's bad this year. i dont see any offense problems. he has 30+ hrs and 100+ rbi's and has hit lik 285. every year is not an mvp year. cut him some slack. and no i wouldnt trade him unless it was for unbelieveable players.

I wouldn't trade him, he's top 5 talent. Amazing how many people in New York want him traded. For who? Do they think they can trade him for someone better? LOL.

yes i would
who would i want?
soriano.
or do you mean all time players?
in all reality a rod ain't the player he was-and he simply doesn't scare pitchers.
soriano's a 40 40 threat every year.
i'd also ask for pulojs or ryan howard (but i don't want to commit ot howard just yet even with is great year-ITS ONLY ONE YEAR!)
