I'm a group leader at the after school day care program at a local school. There director of the program has put me in charge of sports. I want to teach these kids how to play baseball, because they know absolutely nothing about it. Any drills, techniques, or anything that will help? Maybe a weblink with info?

What do you think of this Phillies slugger? Is he pure talent, or are pitchers just not intentionally walking him? Would he be the first non-steroided person to beat Maris's 61 in a season, or are McGwire and Bonds legit? Personally...I hate the guy. He is the whole Phillies team. You could make an expansion team,with him and 24 preschoolers, and they'd still be in the wild card race.

My moto is the team your're born with is the team you die with and I love baseball, but when my team is in the wild card race and below .500, and they lose another game and then their not in the playoffs, how do you deal with that feeling of loss of all hope since i obviously can't manage the team and guide them in the right direction of the promise land?

If so, what did you do as far as drills to get your accuracy?


Also, as a follow up question...have any of you gotten wild and run into mental/confidence issues? If so, once you are always concerned with being able to throw a strike, how do you get that out of your head and just start throwing again?
