My moto is the team your're born with is the team you die with and I love baseball, but when my team is in the wild card race and below .500, and they lose another game and then their not in the playoffs, how do you deal with that feeling of loss of all hope since i obviously can't manage the team and guide them in the right direction of the promise land?

It's just tough luck. I been going to Fenway since I was about 2, and I'm 14. When i could actually understand the game at 7, it was 1999, and all I hear about was next year. But how about all those Cubs fans, with the billy goat and steve bartman. Ya just gotta hang in there. Keep the faith, just think about game 4 of the ALCS in 2004....

Just imagine yourself moving to NYC and becoming one of the mindless Borg that go up to the Stadium to cheer on the $200 million men. That vision should keep you loyal to your team until next year. If you are a Reds fan, for instance, it was not that long ago that your team was in a Series and they were not even supposed to be in it this year. Twinkieman is right. Just keep the faith. It will be that much sweeter when your team does win it.
