The player is Tino Martinez. The team if you mean games in a row with a homer is the Atlanta Braves back in 1998. Consecutively it is the Indians I think.

Just to clarify something:
Don Mattingly, Dale Long and Ken Griffey, Jr. (not Tino Martinez) hold the record of the most consecutive games with HRs at 8.
Most consecutive at bats. There are a bunch of People tied with four.
The most consecutive home runs ever hit during a single game of play is four held by Mike Cameron, Rocky Colavito, Carlos Delgado, Lou Gehrig, Bobby Lowe, and Mike Schmidt.
Also, many others hit 4 consecutive home runs in 2 or more games, including, Mickey Mantle, Bo Jackson, Jimmie Foxx, Hank Greenberg, Charlie Maxwell, Mike Epstein, Larry Herndon, Manny Ramirez, Troy Glaus, Ralph Kiner, Art Shamsky, Deron Johnson, Mike Schmidt, Shawn Green, Johnny Banchard and a host of others.
Others have done it but they either had walks or SF or was hit by a pitch while the streak was on. Including Glenn Allen-Hill and Albert Puljos to name two.
And Ted Williams hit 4 home runs in 4 consecutive official at-bats but walked several times in between. He did this in 4 games, September 17, 20, 21 22 of 1957.
The Major League record is 4, held by the following teams:
Braves against the Reds on June 8, 1961
Indians against the Angels on July 31, 1963.

I think Tino Martinez may have tied the record with 7 straight games with a home run last year or he was one shy, if its not him then i don't know but that is my guess. and most consecutive hr by a team is by the Indians.

The most consecutive home runs ever hit during a single game of play is four held by Mike Cameron, Rocky Colavito, Carlos Delgado, Lou Gehrig, Bobby Lowe and Mike Schmidt. Other players have hit home runs with walks or hit by pitch in between. But these players share the record for one game with no walks in between.

Didn't Manny Ramirez hit homers in 5 consecutive plate appearances a few years back? Just curious; I seem to remember hearing or watching something about that on TV.
