The Nationals have won 6 games straight and are tailing sum big name teams...but I think they can at least give the Wildcard spot a chase.

Interesting doesn't necessarily mean your favorite or the "winningest" team. There are many reasons a team's history could be considered interesting. Please give a few specific ones (other than comments like "They rock!" or "The Yankees suck!" lol) to explain why you chose the team you did.

Thanks in advance for your thoughtful participation! :-)

Ten points to the first person who gets all correct:

1) Name three post-1950 pitchers who won 20 games or more in their rookie seasons.

2) The Braves recently had a 23-game home run streak snapped. Which team has the current record, and when was it set?

3) Name the three players who have hit 100 or more home runs for three different teams during their careers.

I feel this is still our game. I love it more than myself at times, and I am looking to see how you feel about the game, and why.

Pony League Championship...1960 or 61....the left fielder dropped my fly ball over the fence for a 2 run homer....we won 2-1! (he still hates it when I bring it up to him!!)......the next year the same team dropped a routine fly ball to right with the bases loaded and two outs....we won in the 8th inning 8 to 7 (he hates me more when I bring that one up as well)

The coaches never stay inside them - especially the 3rd base coach.

i know he 10-6 with a 3.74 ERA and 121 K's, but 3 of those wins were against my beloved Chicago Cubs and he also hasn`t gave up an earned run against the Cubs in 26 innings, so take away his success against the Cubs and he isn't all tht great, wht do u people think?

As a sports fan of your favorite teams....what game was your biggest heartbreak or disappointment?....as a Yankee/Cowboy Fan....mine was the walk of homerun by Mazaroski in 1960 and the "Ice Bowl" with the Packers.....the "Catch" a close second!!

There's I-Rod and A-Rod, etc. If there was a guy named, say, Philip Rodriguez, would they call him P-Rod?
