I know i am, all three of my drivers are in, three of the best of HMS are in, Stewart, Busch, Edwards, Hamlin, Kenseth, and Truex Jr. Wow what a great field of drivers, its gonna be GREAT!!!!

Come on with Johnson and Gordon being on the pole and in second they had the Cars to beat, but I wish it could have been diffrent for Dale Jr. I have alot of respect for him it took alot for him to walk away from the enterpise his Daddy built.

According to Nascar.com Jimmie Johnson only had 3200 points after 25 races. Then after last nights race he has 5080 or something and moves up 5 spots to take the point lead. Was this last race really worth 1800 points?

Why aren't more people against this idea? It's ridiculous to have the driver with the points lead bumped to 2nd by the guy who was 6th, yes 6th, in the points. No, I am not a Gordon fan, either.

ESPN/ABC should fire Jerry Punch or, at the very least, send him back to being a pit reporter and put Allen Bestwick back in the booth. Rusty Wallace is OK and who the hell is the third guy??? I keep forgetting his name. Dave Burns is kinda funny and Jaime Little is kinda hot...

I've always been a fan of Mike Joy all the way back to his days at CBS, Larry McReynolds was Dale Sr.'s crew chief when he won the 500 and DW is, well, DW. Jeanie Zelasco is doing baseball and Wendi Venturini is at SPEED. FOX needs to get Shannon Spake away from the 4-letter/3-letter network...

Better luck next year. He can still finish 13th, in the big money, he can still win some races. I am not a Jr. fan but, have to admit, I was cheering for him all night. Was looking good there for awhile after Bush was wrecked and Harvick was blowing steam and Jr. was in 2nd. Well, no matter what the forces that led to this, conspiracy theories or not, he gave it all he had tonight. Great job by Dale Jr. Comments?

Why the heck do you guys, or gals, like NASCAR?
I am a big fan of all other motorsports, but I have not been able to like NASCAR and here are my reasons:
1.The cars are fake. I mean they do not resemble the real cars that they represent. Real cars (Ford Fusion, Chevy Monte Carlo, etc) the cars that the NASCARS try to represent are front-wheel-drive, while NASCARs are RWD.
2.The oval tracks are BORRRING.
3.None of the technology found in NASCARs ever makes it to the real world. The 800hp V8s in the race cars are'nt even close to the real sloppy engines offered by the stupid manufacturers.
A final Note: When European manufacturers like Porsche and Ferrari race, they make their street cars better. But the NASCAR participents Ford, Dodge, Chevy, and now Toyota all make boring FWD cars and they don't learn anything from racing. So my question is what the heck is the point of NASCAR other that being a big commercial? And why do you guys support it? It should either change or die.

Use to when they showed the rpm guages and you could hear the engines run you could tell if the cars had a strong engine by the way it sounded. Also you could tell if the engines were about to blow by the way they sounded. Since the change in tv coverage it's been hard to tell exactly how well the engines are running during the race.

A reporter said reason Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s engines keep blowing up at end of races , because of way he drives them. I can't understand that, because I thought all Nascar drivers drive them full throttle most of the time. Also, being him leaving at end of season kind of coincidental that it been happening so often. Any feedback on this matter greatly appreciated.

He has had more engine or equipment failures as DEI's #1 car since his announcement to leave than in history. Sabotage or coincidence ? Please tell me your opinion as a true fan who knows NASCAR. 20+ years talking here so all you new people just please don't bother (sorry, you don't even understand aerodynamics) and trolls I will just ignore you so don't bother. You won't even get a rise out of me. He congratulated his guys after he blew up and was proud for trying. More than you guys do in a lifetime so just shut up.
