Yeah, Jamie was fine. I saw him in the garage after the race. He was pissed though, cuz he had a good car.

# # After a crash on Lap 292, ABC showed Jamie McMurray sitting in his car with the window net up. (Lowering the window net is a driver’s sign that he’s OK.) Motor Racing Network’s reporters talked promptly to Dave Blaney, who was also in the crash, and McMurray. Before another word was said about McMurray on the ABC broadcast, viewers saw a round of commercials, a discussion about the Baltimore Ravens-Cincinnati Bengals game from Suzy Kolber and Brad Daugherty, interviews with Jeff Burton and two crew chiefs, a promotional announcement for ABC’s “PrimeTime” NASCAR series, another set of commercials, a “NASCAR Now” promo, a taped review of race highlights, a presentation of the projected Chase standings including more hype about Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s flagging chances, another set of commercials, coverage of a round of pit stops, another round of commercials and a missed restart. At that point, the race was going again and I had to stop counting. Just so you’ll know, McMurray said he did have the wind knocked out of him, but otherwise he was OK.~ThatsRacin.com

I'm sure he is okay, TV really likes to blow things up when drivers are hurt, , I'm sure he went to the care center as all drivers do after any incident, so no new is good news..if he was injured we would have heard something during the race

The good ol' boys at ABC/ESPN kinda left me wonderin' about that also. I noticed he didn't put down his window net which is usually the sign to tell the safety crews you are okay. I just assumed he was okay after they came back from commercial and didn't talk about it. They dropped the ball big time on that one.

That was a bad hit he took but I'm sure he was fine or it would have been reported. They did drop the ball, and left everyone hanging on that one since you didn't see him drop the windown net or get out.
