Yes I am going to stick with him...The only way I wouldnt if is he had the option to leave Gibbs and go to another Chevy team that is just as good or better..But right now its not his decision. Next season I will support HIM but I will not wear shirts that have Toyota symbols or buy merchandise with Toyota on it..If i want to represent him I will with the stuff I have now. GO STEWART.....AND CHEVY!

I personally think Toyota cars rock. I've driven Chevys, Fords, Dodges, and Toyotas before, and I picked them for my everyday life.

In NASCAR, my top 3 drivers 3 different make, one Ford, one Chevy, and one Dodge.

A person shouldn't pick their driver for the type of car they drive. That just seems ridiculous. And besides, even those people who stop supporting Stewart and Hamlin and Busch next year will probably jump back on the wagon soon after. JGR obviously has a plan behind their decision to go to Toyota. They're going to make Toyota big.

Personally, I thing that Gibbs is going to do more good for Toyota than Toyota is going to harm Gibbs. There's only one team in the Cup series that could give Toyota more credibility than Gibbs, & that's HMS.
Believe it: by halfway next year, the Toys will be running top-10's with alarming consistency.
Remember this: Dodge's first year back in Cup, they couldn't win the One-Man 400.
You can't really call the Coach a traitor. He's just doing the American Capitalist thing: Somebody offers you a better deal, you take it. If someone offered you a huge pay raise to do the same job you're doing now, with better benefits, just with a different company, would you stay put? I think not.

Wont affect me at all, I know about 20 people here in Indiana that work at Toyota, in their minds Gibbs isnt a traitor. Why should I think so? Stewart until the day he retires.

I will still cheer for Stewart. He is my favorite driver. I agree with you that it really isn't his choice. He has a contract with Gibbs so he goes where they go until his contract is up and then he can either stay with them or go somewhere else. I did see something that Chevy will aggressively go after Stewart when his Gibbs contract is over and try to get him back on a Chevy team. I will not cheer for Toyota though.

I will always be a Tony Stewart fan no matter what. I root for him because of him, not because of the car he drives. He will still be the same guy, so I will still be a fan.
I think it's sad that people will abandon their driver for the make of his car. And they are calling Gibbs the unloyal one?!
I'm glad they switched, it gets rid of the bandwagon people who aren't true fans. Tony doesn't need fans like that anyway.

My two favorite drivers are JR and Tony,I don't care what they drive. It's always been the driver not the car for me.I was a Richard Petty fan and never owned a Plymouth or Dodge!
Go Smoke!

How is Gibbs a traitor? The Camary is the only vehicle represented in NASCAR that is actually built in the U.S. I will actually pull for Tony now that he will be a Toyota.

My loyalty to Tony outweighs the loyalty to the manufacturer, at least when it comes to NASCAR.

But I'd still buy a Chevy instead of a Toyota.

The day of American vs foreign is technically over. All mfg are intermingled world wide, so get over it. Tony's fans are Tony's fans and if you don't think so YOU ARE NOT A FAN of Tony's. Tony is an asset to all forms of racing in the US and if he wants to drive for JGR it shows he wants to support and improve racing in the US more than an immature 'MY DAD CAN BEAT YOUR DAD" attitude of foreign (in name only) vs American
