A reporter said reason Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s engines keep blowing up at end of races , because of way he drives them. I can't understand that, because I thought all Nascar drivers drive them full throttle most of the time. Also, being him leaving at end of season kind of coincidental that it been happening so often. Any feedback on this matter greatly appreciated.

That reporter doesnt know anything!!!!!! It isnt Jr.s driving, its the suck azz engines that TEI are giving him.
It wasnt a coincidence that with only 5 laps to go, driving his guts out and doing a fantastic job that ANOTHER ENGINE BLOWS!!!!!!!!!!

Dale Earnhardt Jr. knows how to drive. After how many years as a driver, let alone spending his entire life engulfed with the sport, any claim that it's his driving that's causing the engine trouble is ludicrous. DEI has given Dale crappy cars and engines continuously. Hendrick will treat him a whole lot better.
Mav - If you're trying to suggest that Dale's crew chief is aiding in a sabotage of his motors... you are out of your mind. Tony Eury Jr. is Dale Jr's cousin, for one thing, and he's going to Hendrick WITH Jr. They have probably one of the most successful driver-crew chief partnerships in the history of Nascar.

I can see how fans could think that it could be his driving style. There are many other DEI engines on the track besides DEI owned cars. He admitted over reving the motor a couple of weeks ago. I don't really have any idea, it does seem strange though. I guess next year will be the year he'll have to show the fans.

i think of Robby's very probably maximum suitable. i've got pronounced it in the past and that i'll assert it returned. DEI has found out a thank you to get tremendous ability from the R07. they simply have not found out a thank you to get it to stay mutually. it would look very genuine seeking to me that in case you have been going to attempt something experimental it would be with Jr and not the driving force you have interior the chase. optimistically they learn all they are in a position to now and can supply their drivers with high quality engines next 12 months which will make extraordinary ability and stay mutually. If it performs out like i think of it is going to, DEI would be better interior the long-term for doing what they have been, and Jr would be extra useful off while he gets to a clean team.

DEI needs to step up there program all together 4 engines in one year for Jr is crazy who ever that commentator was needs to be shot Dei engine program sux and it has proved it year after year the only tracks Jr and Mikey was good at for a long time was superspeedways then hms came into the picture and there engine program just fell apart it may be because there not running that c6 motor like every one else is running i think thats the motors name c6 or co6 one of the two

I guess Martin Truex uses Roush engines or penske or something other than dei seeing as how he made the chase and the great dale jr didn't , and even if he makes it in next year it will be in kyle busch's car which coincedentally also made the chase so if Jr doesn't make it in next year then that would make him less than one of them busch boys which would put him on about the level of a horses @$$, heres a thought , lets give Jr 500 more horsepower than everyone else, maybe then he would win a few races and make the chase then you Jr fanatics would have a real reason other than his name to brag on just remember its Dale Jr NOT Dale Sr., he didnt inherit 7 winston cup titles and 76 victories when the REAL Dale Earnhardt passed away, Theresa got those too just like she got yaws precious number 8. anyhow yaw just gonna have to watch Tony Stewart win his THIRD Championship.

I think it was a little of both. He was driving it harder than ever tonight. He really wanted to win!!! Although Martin Truex, Jr has done very well, he didn't have to drive it like he stole it to try and cinch the final spot for the Chase.
Plus, he doesn't have the pressure that Jr. has had lately.

The DEI engine dept has told their drivers to not run many practice laps cause the engines can't take it. If that isn't an admission of responsibility then I have never heard one.
DEI cars and engines are crap. Jr could tell the difference in the cars driving Kyles crashed car those few laps. Even all bent up it was better than he is used to.
You can't drive an engine too hard on an oval.

All I can say is why are Martin Truex and Paul Menards engines not blowing up? Truex has won a race and is in the chase.

The only time Jr. hurt an engine was at Watkins Glen when he downshifted and over reved the motor a few times. All the others had nothing to do with his driving.

I'm not sure why the engines are blowing up, i just know DEI needs to do something to make them better! RCR has DEI engines and with all 3 RCR drivers in the chase, they need to have good engines at all times!
