Look at all the Indy car and F! drivers defecting to NASCAR. First Juan Pablo-Montoya, now Franchitti and Hornish, Jr. I've also heard Wheldon wants to come over next year. Just look at the stands at a Indy race. The stands are half empty. I've always know that NASCAR is 10 times better but man I didn't believe they'd actually run Indy out of business.

In May Earnhardt said he was leaving DEI and Truex promptly took off on the track. I do not know what is going on with Teresa and the Earnhardt family,but I lost faith in her when she would not sell Dale Jr the number he was using. That just showed her up as the mean old stepmother. He runs so good and his engine blows, it just looks suspicios.

looks like all the JR fans will have to make those tattoo's into and # 81.... Speculation and yahoo says that hendrick will announce the new number within the next two weeks

Who loves this show? You get to learn about Nascar if you arent into the sport. You also get to learn about drivers, if you dont know about them. Like Johnny Sauter....yeah....ill cheer for him now.... Mark Martin... i love him even more....JPM....just made me dislike him more.....
See its amazing who ever thought of it is just amazing.

For all nascar fans. First of all, I like Dale Jr and I wished he could take the #8 with him to Hendricks. But think about this. He chose to leave DEI because he didn't get 51% ownership. Now he doesn't have any ownership at Hendricks, so what did that accomplish?

Second. When a driver leaves a team, they leave the number. Why can't he just accept the #5 or whatever Hendricks gives him? If he'd stayed with DEI he'd still be the #8 Budweiser Chevrolet. He made his choice, now he needs to accept the consequences. Again, I do like Jr.

The best thing about watching Jimmy Johnson win, is watching him do his burnouts. They cut Jimmy Johnsons victory to do a split-screen with Dale E. Jr. bumming out because he got a DNF. The whole screen should've been Jimmy Johnson, at least while he was doing his "victory dance". I think so. That was so uncool. They could've waited to interview Junior. (no wonder Harvick declined a pre-race interview)

stop blaming jr's. failures on equipment not up to par or theresa. could it just be he isnt as good a driver as the winners in nascar? because of his dad is no reason to be a fan of jr. look at his record. not so great!
