Tina, I believe he's signed through 2008 and is working on an extension.
It's kind of sad that some people spend half of their time creating new accounts just to get kicked off again. Their time could be better spent, like maybe they could learn to tell the difference between Mark Martin and Martin Truex.

You can see by all the other answers that his contract goes through 2009. As for his intentions, they are to stay with his DEI team. He has said this over and over.
Think of it this way, if you were the lead driver for a team like DEI would you leave? Think not!

Depends on where DEI's at in 2009 really. If it's still one of the premier teams yes, if there at say the level of Haas(or whatever they are this week), then no. Who knows JRM might be ready for a Cup team at that point, and Truex goes back to driving for Jr again, he drove for Chance 2 in the Busch series not DEI. BTW I made that point about Martin and Truex on her dumb question, and made them look like idiots again. Of course she just resorted to the tactic of coming up with a retarded screen name mocking mine again. And of course she repeats the question with the same name.

truex aint leaving dei he is the top driver sense dale jr got his eyes open and desided to leave at the end of the year.
unless tresea starts doing him wrong like she is doing jr it seems strange ever sense he desided to leave his motors are blowning up every race or his cars have problems.

Truex Jr. has a contract until 2009...and if he keeps on racing like this, that contract is gonna go places.

Aw, don't sweat it, Wedge...apparently it admires you enough to try and emulate you (and failing miserably, thus looking even more stupid, if that's possible!).
Hopefully after his contract is up, Truex will leave DEI. If DEI can stay afloat that long, that is.

he is contracted thru 2009, he'll probably stay right where he is unless he starts having blown motors like Jr has all season.. He is the number 1 there now so, he's likely to stay.
