They've just got it going right now. And they have so great drivers, no question about that. I don't think the luck will stay with them forever though. Gordon has been pretty lucky this season if you ask me. Like when he barely won over Newman due to rain (Gordon's engine would have blown up in a matter of just a few more laps, and Newman would have passed him in a matter of a lap or so anyway). Plus Gordon got about 4-5 poles due to qualifying being rained out.

Blind eye to what? Are you trying to make an allegation of some sort? Dominance can happen in sports.... even in auto racing. Gordon has already proven over the last decade with four championship and almost 80 wins that he is in fact a winning driver. And Johnson has proven that he is a championship driver by winning the championship last year as well as winning almost 30 races in his short career of 6 years. That is an average of 5 wins a year for Johnson! Combined, Gordon and Johnson have nearly 110 wins. So why would it be a surprise that together they might win 10 races in a season? To be honest, I am surprised Gordon didn't win a few more.

It all boils down to their crew chiefs honestly, and a few of those wins were from races called due to rain, or fuel mileage at the end when the winner of the race was not competitive at all. It is cyclic Roush a few years back was under the same scrutiny. Then again Hendrick does have a lot of rules violations the past few years for modifications on cars that were out of the gray area and into the suspending crew chiefs areas. Who knows.

Ok, let's look at who has been competing the longest without a break...GM.....so what mental giants out there can't do the math? How long was the Chrysler corp out of competitive racing? Richard Petty has more wins than than any other driver ever and most of them came in a car other than GM or Ford. but I have to agree that NASCAR is favoring Chevrolet. Is Chevrolet giving NASCAR more than the other manufacturers? My bet is yes....

In 1985, Bill Elliott won 11 races all by himself, and that was only racing in 28 races, 8 fewer than than they run today! Unfortunately, he didn't win the championship until 1988. Go figure.

Hendrick is just that good...they are the current superpower of NASCAR, and its obvious that Hendrick drivers have close relationships and good communication with their crew chiefs...they just have everything going for them and a lot of talent, and I love it! I've been a Gordon fan since I was 3 (back in 1994)! The only thing I disagree with is Kyle Busch being released for Dale Jr. Is it possible to have maybe TOO much superpower on a team?

It's called being on top of your game. It's nothing new. And yes, sometimes NASCAR does seem to be blind in one eye. LOL

Sure, everything in NASCAR's a conspiracy! It had nothing to do with Hendrick doing more CoT testing than any other team and dominating the early CoT races.

They're just that good. Go Jeff and Jimmy. You guy are really gonna have to work next year to cary all that dead weight comming to your team. They traded a guy that has won for a guy that has not. All the better though. He'll be with Tony and Denny next year.

Just like Petty Enterprises was and Roush was a few years ago. They have the best equipment and the best staff.
