Of course they will. All the fans who still worship his late father will be upset that Junior "let them down". After all, most of Junior Nation is made up of leftover Sr fans.
Carrying on a Legacy is tough work, folks. Give the kid a break, & either love him or hate him for who he is.

I'm a Jr fan but more a anti chase fan so whether if he made it or not I only planned on watching the good tracks.
There for I am only planing on watching 4 more races.
Never was like that until all the changes NASCAR has made over the last 7 years.

If the ratings go down its not because of Jr, its the lact luster guys in the booth...Us Jr fans will be watching and cheering him on, just because he is not in the chase doesn't mean he can't go out and try to win races... It would be so nice if non chase drivers could win most of the final races left..

If you are a true NASCAR fan, you could give a hoot about the ratings. NASCAR is here to stay no matter what! I'm a JR. fan and will continue to watch with the dedication I have all year. Besides, I think JR. made a good move because DEI just seemed that they put more into the 1 car of Truex. It just seemed odd that he blew 5 motors this year, where Truex didn't blow any. I think Menard blew one early in the year but not like JR.

Hmm..you brought out a good point for the fans..Well if my favorite driver Tony Stewart was in the position JR is I would watch every race still....but i might flip it off for some of it..I wont be as interested but I would still watch it because the race is still to be won. But say i needed to do something and Stewart was in the chase..I might make plans to do what i need to do later on...but if he isnt I might go ahead with the plans..You getting me..

I doubt it. Just because Jr. is out of the Chase doesn't mean he's not still racing. His fans will still be watching the races to see him race.

I don't think so. I know junior is popular in the sport but it really isnt all about him. The chase is going to be interesting, exciting, and all that jazz....and I am sure people are also anxious to see how junior does for the remainder of his last season at DEI.

No. Junior's fans will still be watching to see how he is doing. He could still win some races.

No. Because he is out of the race for the cup doesn't mean he is going to stop racing.
