it hasnt bothered me,except for tonight. ole "junebug" mustve been frickin frackin flamin mad. hell, i would gladly pay his fine if he wouldve cussed during an interview.

my thing is, can a driver deliberatley blow motors?i think not.somethings wrong.

im just confused.if Jr. is blowing them up himself,then,shame is on him.maybe this motor thing is something we will never know about

I doubt we will ever know, all these blown motors something does sound fishy, he has had to drive his behind off here for the last few months, I just do not think his equipment is up to the kind of driving he has had to do to try to win or stay in the chase, kind of hard to win races when your equipment isn't up the rest of the guys out there.. Teresa doesn't build the motors, I also thought maybe someone on his team might be pissed that he is leaving, but we will never know unless some investigating is done...Geez, how many days till daytona-2008? I can't wait...No more DEI crap.

I think Jr's been getting motors built with parts out of the crap part pile. And yes Truex has blown a couple this year hell didn't get past lap 1 in the spring Cali race(Menard was the only DEI car to finish that race), and blew another one somewhere I forgot about. I'm beginning to wonder if Jr's wondering how to sneak a Hendrick engine in the car, hmm they send a Cup engine to JRM "accidentally" and it somehow gets into Jr's car.

If nothing else NASCAR needs to take a good look into the situation. How odd is it that Jr. has blown 6 engines this year, and NONE of the other DEI drivers have seemed to have had a problem in that area.
I doubt if his stepmother has sense enough to know one part of an engine from another, but who's to say she can't HAVE it done?
This is just to weird to be coincidental.

You know, for about 5 seconds I understood why people were saying its not sabotage because Theresa doesn't build the engines herself, but if in other sports don’t we call for a new gm or head coach if our team does badly? He’s not the one throwing the ball, or not making his blocks but they put the players on the field that didn’t make the play.

Here we have something very close to the same thing. We have a team owner that hates her stepson will do anything to see him fail no matter how bad it looks on DEI because this is no longer business its personal.

We have to think who has the final decision on what engines go in what cars, what crew builds these engines, what parts are available to build them with, and how much time the equipment is used to test each engine.......... well the final answer is Theresa

The 1 car runs in the top of the field a lot even coming from the back a few times and I don’t seem to remember 4 blown engines in the 1 car, I haven’t heard a blown engine in the 15 car this yr either so tell me why JR has had 4 blown engines.

Theresa has been out for JR this whole yr she wont let him have the 8 because it means too much to DEI. What does it mean to DEI except its jr. other than jr it hasn’t been used by one driver for more than a yr since 1983 - 1990 when Bobby Hillin Jr used it. So it shows that long as its not jr in the 8 she is happy. Just as long as its not jr in the winners circle she is happy.

She is going to run the good DEI name that she thinks she helped build into the ground. she knows nothing more about nascar than how to cash their checks and spend the money, just look how the team has done since sr left us and this fact is proved. (and b4 you rookies jump on that sr didnt drive for DEI so his driving record didnt effect DEI)

I just hope her giving him bad supplies don’t break him down at the wrong time and it ends up hurting anyone besides her

Dale Jr has been racing hard all season and there is nothing wrong with that cause thats what is all about. His motor problem is not his, it is the engine builders or parts mfg. What needs to be done is already being done and Jr and Tony E are going to Hendrick where the problem is rare, and championships are not.

I don't think that she is have anything "done" to his motor but I do believe, because he is leaveing and she hates him, that she is not putting the money into his car that she should be and that she's putting into her other cars. I find it just a little strange that she waits till after JR leaves to make major changes in the company that would but JR back in championship compotition, like joining with RCR for their motors. I mean it's like she's been trying to drive him out of the company since his dad died. I hope she runs it into the ground and in 5 or 6 year has no choice but to sell out to JR and give up all control, not just the 51% JR asked her for!

I love Dale Jr but some of you whacko's are really making me wonder why? Theresa has nothing to do with the engines. First everyone says she is an owner that never shows up, now she's a terrorist.

You people are plain nuts. Theresa does not decide who gets what engine or anything with the engine department. Get real! It is funny that the only one having engine trouble this year has been Dale and not Truex or Menard. I wonder if Dale is blowing up his own engines (very possible). If there is any kind of sabotage, I would look closer at someone on the #8 crew responsible for putting the engine in the car. Quit blaming Theresa for things she isn't even involved with.
