THIS QUESTION IS MORE OF AN OPINION POLL BUT,
(HERE'S MY OPINION)
I like FOX, and I like DW and his talking style (even though other answerers do not).
I don't mind Rusty W on ESPN (he's ok) at least he knows what he is talking about.

FOX is amazing. If they didnt have football in the fall i bet they would carry NASCAR during the whole year. ESPN/ABC has ruined racing. I would rather listen to warren wallace rustys and mikes nephew from the geico commercials call the race. Since when does the draft become a factor at richmond? I cant wait until Daytona when espn can explain about how there is tremendous break wear. All of their announcers suck. Dr. Jerry Punch is a bafoon who rambles on he should have stayed with the IDIOT RACING LEAGUE(IRL). And what the hell is with the token black guy who played basketball. He just gives his input and has no clue what the hell he is talking about. Mike Joy, DW and Larry Mac are freaking awesome. Can't wait till the Daytona 500.

I prefer ABC. The overall coverage is better but I swear if I have to listen one more time to DW and/or Rusty Wallace preach about how Juan Pablo Montoya is the best driver to ever sit behind the wheel of a NASCAR I might be forced to mute the TV and listen to the radio. And Rusty is the king of the obvious. Apparently he caters to those first time NASCAR watchers who have never even seen a car before.

Fox is the better of the two. I got so irritated with ESPN/ABC last night. They actually had Susie and Brad talking about other sports while the race was going on!!
I thought I was going to throw something at the T.V.!!!
It's bad enough that we had to bounce around other ESPN stations to get our "SCHEDULED" showing of the race but "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?"
And don't even get me started on the
green flag (always in commercial break)and yellow flag(recap coverage because we were in commercial break during a green flag)racing!!!
Although Rusty is very knowledgeable, he doesn't do well in commentating. They are all so dry when talking, almost like they are reading EVERYTHING off of cue cards.
DW does act like a little kid, but at least he keeps everyone jazzed.

Man! I LOVE THIS QUESTION!!! It should be sent to ESPN. They have really screwed up the presentation, I have never heard so many statements REPEATED, TIME AFTER TIME, and showing the DRAFT. Most fans who are real fans know alot of this stuff and to hear it time after time, makes me really ready to turn off the TV. I do mute alot and can see what is going on, if the commercial is over before they go back to green. Otherwise I have to wonder who got the jump on whom, and how did he gain 3 spots on the restart, while Rusty Wallace is saying that David Green is passing Kurt Busch, when it is Kurt Busch passing David Green. ESPN, the station that started broadcasting has too much coverage and has been screwed when one event overlaps another and you have to change channels to finish a race. They are trying to crowd too many things into one schedule and have the most boring commentators in the realm of motorsports. Bret Mosberger?? COME ON! Give me FOX, SPEED and David Jenkins anytime

FOX sucks at it. They have a child's view of everything to do with the sport so they can draw in the kids. DW is horrible and his buddy too.
Some of the better announcers are working for other stations so to find the best station night be hard.
I guess my pick is ESPN/ABC hands down.
Shove your BOOGITY BOOGITY dw, there are grownups watching.

Fox - and I hate to say that. But last night just in the 200 laps I saw they missed two restarts and didn't even talk to the guy who finished 5th even though the announcers had been talking about him all night long. I know it was the last regular season race and they wanted to interview the chase guys but it's still not right to ignore the other guys who had a really great race (i.e., Johnny Sauter who started 35th and finished 5th). Just my opinion.

I don't really care who's calling the race, all of them have strengths and weaknesses. But ESPN/ABC have to explain to me when it became againest the rules to show a re-start.My gosh they didnt show a single one lastnight and just when you get back from a commercial and the pace car is still out there off we go to more commercials.I can hear Mickey Mouse and Goofy in the truck going "Whew, that was close, almost showed a re-start".Show the dern re-starts thats some of the best racing within a race.

Well, you left off TNT and NBC, both of which I actually prefer to either FOX or ESPN/ABC.
Don't like Rusty, he's a whiner. Same with DW...if I have to hear Boogity boogity boogity one more time...ugggh! I actually mute the TV so I don't have to hear it!
And I agree with Charlie - show the restarts ESPN/ABC! We watch the race because we want to *see* it....duuh

FOX, better commentaters, not alot of bulls**t info. that any fan should already know.Better tech coverage. The only thing I would suggest is that they get Shannon or Krista to do some reporting.

FOX is the only thank you to observe NASCAR. Did anybody word the form of labeled classified ads the former day? they could prepare approximately 2 laps of racing then prepare 3 to 4 minutes of labeled classified ads. i improve into gazing labeled classified ads the different day and a race got here on!
