Last year Tony won the championship, and broke his ribs in the off-season.

This year Jimmie wins the championship, and breaks his wrist in the off-season.

1. David Pearson: Most career wins at Darlington and Michigan

2. Dale Earnhardt: 10 career wins at Talladega, 9 career wins at Atlanta and Darlington.

3. Bill Elliott: 42 of 44 career wins have come on superspeedways, including 11 wins in 1985.

4. Fred Lorenzen: First drive to win at all five major superspeedways.

5. Cale Yarborough: Five Southern 500 wins, four-time Daytona 500 winner.

Honorable mention:
Jeff Gordon: Four straight Southern 500 wins.

Jimmie Johnson: Three straight Coca-Cola 600 wins and 5 career wins at Charlotte.

I mean in all ares of US theres a track by it except the north! I mean we got alot of nascar fans here and the population is desent plus tickets would sell out because te closest track to us is chicago. It would replace a race in New Hamshire very well casue NH is in the middle of no were!

Now, I know that people before have asked this question. It's a good question, and I am going to ask it to see what people have to say. Before anyone gets on my case, I am a diehard NASCAR fan. I love the sport! However, it does trouble me that lack of diversity seems to be an issue in the NASCAR world. I'm not talk about the drivers or the officials...I'm talking about the FANS. What do you, as a NASCAR fan, think about black or brown people attending a NASCAR race...or even someday being a driver? Does it worry you? Bother you? Why? I'm not asking this question only to Southern people...I'm asking everybody. It seems like maybe many fans are racists. Some even think that NASCAR is the last "racially clean" sport! What do you think of all that?
Please be reminded that I am not looking for trouble. This question is valid, and I simply want points of view from fellow NASCAR fans. Don't answer if you don't understand what I'm talking about or want to pick a fight.

My friend Erica thinks that I should have a crush on guys who are black or hispanic. I'm into guys like that, but I can't find ones that are hot!!!! She thinks that NASCAR drivers are ugly country boys!! SHE EVEN CALLED DALE JR UGLY!!! When they were announcing the awards at the Nascar banquet the other night, I noticed that Kevin Harvick got the "Driver of The Year" award. But in my opinion it either should've went to Kasey Kahne for winning the most races in the season or to Jimmie Johnson for winning the Nextel Cup this year. So, I was just wondering how they picked Kevin Harvick for that award.
