In fact - he just added another one in the 06 Todd Kleuver driven car. I dont understand why Jack Rousch seems to get this preferential treatment.....is it the goofy hat?

i see that some believe that Jack would not be able to replace those that he lost, but he did trade away Busch and got McMurray, and now added Kluever to the mix. And I agree that it's seemingly unfair biases towards him.

Nascar did in fact limit the number of teams to four. However Jack having five when the rule was made, NASCAR stated he has until 2008 or 2009 can't remember which to drop the one team because of sponsorship contracts. The number he will be keeping are the 6, 16,17 and 99.

I believe that Rousch was given an extention on the time to rid himself of his fifth team. I am not sure why he replaced Mark Martin when he left except for the Sponsorship $. Nascar loves Rousch, as evident by the fact that 60% of the "Chase for the Cup" final 10 are on 1.5 mile tracks.

Rousch is "grandfathered" in the cup series. SO he gets to keep the 5 teams he has. If he ever drops one of them, that's it.

Rousch was grandfathered in until sponsor and driver contracts expire.

because nascar basically kisses jack roush's ***!!!!!!!!!!! sorry for being blunt but that true. have one of their drivers get 6 wins and i bet you any money that that driver from rousch gets on the top 5 and stays there till the end.

as you can guess, i am a proud kahne fan!!!!!!!!!!!
