Who selected Melissa Rivers to announce the drivers Friday night during the NASCAR Banquet? Did they ever say "Melissa Rivers is the announcer for tonight......" That voice made my skin crawl!!

Yeah, I was not very impressed by her or Jay Mohr. Mike Helton looked a bit perturbed! They could have tried a bit harder on that huh?? Maybe enough people complained enough to have it changed for next year!

I know, Melissa Rivers ahd no business being there during the Cup Awards Banquet. Wendy, I could understand because she knows about Nascar but all Melissa did was ask them about who designed their suits and dresses. They should have gotten Krista as the announcer.
And Nascar needs to realize that Jay Mohr is by far the worst comedian ever. He is not funny...he always does the lamest lines and nobody in the audience was laughing at him. Most of him were looking at him like WTF is he doing here!
Hopefully they will get a better host and a better announcer next season.

That was really Melissa Rivers? As in Joan Rivers' daughter? I'm shocked! I don't think it sounded like her and I agree, they could have found someone with a better voice.
