check out the link below and tell me what you think.

All I have to say is H*LL Freakin Yeah, I'd pay the extra $99 for this!!!! Can you imagine??? How many NASCAR fans want to experience this and dream of being in the car??? With my new plasma HD and surround sound, it's going to be a long wait 'til Daytona!!!

I know that ComCast has done something similar, too.
I love my DirecTV much better than my Dish Network or any cable that i have had in the past.

If the driver you are watching crashes, you have 4 other drivers to choose from. There are 5 different channels with 5 different drivers each week. Turn to another channel and ride along with that driver. It's not like you have to pick one channel and stay with it. Myself, I will be flipping back and forth between those and the regular race. Think of all the action you can catch---green flags, wrecks, pit road, the checkered flag, burn outs....

I do have comcast and yes it is cool!! You can hear the talk between the pit crew and driver. It's not censored either. F- bombs are flying all over the place. If a driver crashes they will switch to another one. They sometimes have camera trouble and switch anyways. I know that comcast lets you have a free trial for Daytona. Last year they discounted it too. It is nice especially when the race was on TNT and you missed half the race because of commercials.

That would be so awesome! I wish Cox had done it though and not DirectTV. I was actually thinking that they should have sometihng similar, where they hire an announcer or two to cover each driver and have a different channel for them, so that way if your like me and don't have one of the more popular drivers you can still figure out why they're a lap down. I guess NASCAR has the raceday scanner and that other thing though.

My friend has direct TV...if only they were NASCAR fans :\

That would be pretty cool. I would imagine that they would have to make agreements with the different teams, so there is a possibility that some of the drivers will never be shown.

If I had DirecTV, I would pay for something like that.

Yeah thats cool...but do you realize that you can drive one of these cars for a reasonable price???Some of the NASCAR drivers have there own racing schools..for example the Jarrett's do...i'll be going there in a few weeks with the family as we were personally invited !!!

you get a better perspective of the race with the regular camera view as opposed to watching from inside one car at a time

That is pretty cool but I'll just stay with the regular network coverage. Unless they bring back that damned Bill Weber, then maybe I'd consider it.
