Its about time he left Stepmom Theresa in the dark. She has screwed everything up for the race team. I predict DEI will see greatly reduced revenues, and rightly so. Dale Sr would set her straight if he were here. Too bad for the real family...

How do you think that will work?
Maybe a big gambel.....Good luck Dale!

Will Jr be driving the Bud car under a different number next season?

I know that this is premature, but what if Jr and Truex both opt for Jr Motorsports, will Menard be far behind ? Could it be possible that this could be the end of DEI as we have known it ?

The other day I was watching a NASCAR race on TV, and I noticed that all the cars had fake headlights. I was just wondering what the point of that is.

He was good enough in 2003, gave it away in 2004... has never been back to that level since... Will Dale Jr ever win the Nextel Cup?

What do you think about Hendrick dominating Nascar this season? If I was any driver I would purposely take them out late in the race so they can't win. What about you?

I am all for Tony speaking his mind and showing frustration with NASCAR. I actually agree with him to some extent. But before we go out an make him a hero, lets look at some facts. Tony should stop feeling that he can race by double-standards. He is the first one to preach about safe driving. Daytona 06 for instance, before the race he talks about NASCAR having to stop bump drafting. During that race he takes out 3 cars with bump drafting. Race after race he gets into other cars. He is always claiming, oh it is not my fault, then if someone gets into him he whines and complains. I guess racin is racin if Tony bumps you. Again Tony your comments may be warranted, but you live a very comfortable life-style, so why bite the hand that feeds. Also Tony is maybe the most talented driver out there. But come on Tony, be a man and start taking responsablity for your actions on the track. You are not above NASCAR, and you don't drive by a different set of rules than everyone else.

So I'm going to the Darlington race this weekend, and have tickets for the busch and cup race. I can't find tickets for practice and qualifying anywhere! Can you buy them, or do you just show up and it's free?

I remember hearing that a couple of year's ago.
It was to keep the big money team's from getting too much of an advantage.
Is the Cap still in effect?

Since the debut of the "car of tomorrow," NASCAR has taken the car of the race winner and one or two others back to its research and development center in Concord for examination of how the car handles the rigors of race conditions. Hendrick drivers have won all four COT races thus far this season.

NASCAR did the same this past week after Richmond, but because Johnson's team was not planning to run the car at Darlington, S.C., this weekend, Hendrick told NASCAR officials they could keep the car for additional study.

Johnson's passed post-race inspection at Richmond and there are no other issues with the car, NASCAR officials maintain.

"The No. 48 team was not using this car for Darlington and they volunteered to let us keep the car longer in an effort to increase the scope of our inspection process," said NASCAR spokesman Kerry Tharp. "There are no issues with the car whatsover.
"This is a good example of teams working with us as we adapt to the new car."

Obviously he is not ready to compete on the biggest stage, why not get his new cars figured out in the busch series. I know some of his cars race in the busch series, but he needs to get HIS figured out... I am not a Mikey fan at all, I just wanted to know why he does not do this...

My son will turn 6 soon and Jeff Gordon is his idol! All he wants is a card or letter for his birthday signed by Jeff Gordon. I don't mind if it's just a stamped reproduced letter, poster, or card sent by his people. Please help!

Yeah, I know Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson are talented and all, but this streak is getting much too much. Do you think something besides talent might be at work? Have you heard a really interesting or funny theory?

My mom thinks Hendricks was involved in the PoS...I mean, CoT design. I think Hendricks may be selling bad engines to other teams.

Put on your tinfoil hat and share your theory! :-)
