Well...there was once a time where if a team or, specifically, a manufacturer, had a distinct advantage, NASCAR would tweak the cars by modifying the spoiler length, fender flare, etc. And it wasn't that long ago...probably not more than five years ago. What NASCAR has done is a disgrace to every single fan out there to let this go unchecked...
Having said that, I'm thinking that Rick Hendrick's got NASCAR in his back pocket...doing everything in his power to hand him (or specifically, Jeffy) another championship. Perhaps it'll end when Jeffy wins his eighth championship, officially making him the greatest driver ever...but I don't know.

Wow! You guys have NO imagination. Now where did I put that tinfoil hat? Oh, there it is!
The reason that Hendricks is so dominating is a fact that very few people know about. Of course I'm going to say what it is now so everybody will know. Jeff Gordon, Jimmy Johnson, and their crew chiefs are not human. What we are witnessing is 2 "Super Racers" that Rick Hendricks had "built" for him by NASA. From what I understand, he didn't have quite enough money to convert the entire stable, so he left Casey Mears untouched for this season.
WARNING: Right now, RCR is reviewing plans to create what is known as "Line Equalizing Acceleration Device" or LEAD that is sure to produce some wins. I personally think that they may be on to something big if their drivers can get used to using the complex idea of LEAD. This could be especially effective in the late laps of the race.
On a super side note, I also heard that Jack Roush is switching to Dodge and that Dale Earnhardt Jr will be running with him next year.
Wow this tinfoil hat sure is tight!

I am a HUGE Jeff Gordon fan and I love Hendrick Motorsports except for Kyle Busch. I hate him. Anyhow the funniest thing that I've heard is that their cheating like paying NASCAR or something and that is so funny but not true because even NASCAR cant determine whos going to win the race or what type of car each driver is going to have its just impossible to predict so many things could happen. I doubt anything funny is going on but their just better then everyone else since they have won all of the COT races.... Let's see thats a total of 5????

My favourite was when Jeff Gordon premiered the Jurassic Park car at Charlotte in the late 1990's. The car kicked *** and won the winston. Teams and owners complained that the Hendrick chassis was illegal. So after the race, NASCAR took the car away from Hendrick to inspect the car. After inspection, the car came up legal and there were no fines handed out. However, NASCAR never gave back the car to Hendrick stables and the car was never seen again.

As a Jeff Gordon fan, I can tell you that this is just a lucky streak. Eventually he will have a few bad races and everything will go back to normal. As for now, the Hendrick team is really close and they share a lot of important information with each other. Thus having really good races.
And another thing, Rick Hendrick is loaded with money. Have you ever looked into his car dealership business. Plus all the money he makes with Johnson, Gordon, Busch. He can afford some of the best team workers.
But really its just a streak that will soon end.

How about this, Hendrick will let Casey Mears go and sign Dale Jr. so he can finally get a win and get away from Theresa. (LOL).
By the way, how about when Jack Roush accused the 24 team of cheating and they tore apart the car. Jack never appologized to Ray Evernham and I won't root for anyone who drives for him.
No conspiracy here folks, Rick Hendrick puts up the money and gets the equipment and the talent. They are a family and very loyal to him and the organization. So, they go the extra mile to get the win.
Been a fan of Jeff Gordon since fall of 1994 when I attended my first race at Richmond.

You really shouldn't wear that tinfoil hat out in the full sun too much. It starts to make you think and see things that aren't real. Ask Mark Martin how crappy the Hendrick engines that Ginn Racing is getting are.
BREAKING NEWS: This just in, Jr to get "bad engines" from Hendrick Motorsports to power his own 2 car team in 2008. It has been reported that Jr and Martin Truex Jr will leave DEI and drive for JR Motorsports.

They've hit on something that works and that none of the other teams have figured out yet. Knowledge leaks, especially in the garage area. By the time the Chase starts, the SETUP advantage will be gone. Hendrick of course has other advantages.
It reminds me of when Tony Stewart went on his tear in late summer in 2005, Zipadelli had figured out something with the coil binding that the other teams hadn't hit on yet. The other teams figured it out in about 6 weeks.
I should point out that I despise each and every Hendrick driver, and I love picking on their fans......but they're probably not cheating, they're just a very well-run organization.

Jeff Gordon is just a proven champion, no conspiracy there. Now Jimmy Johnson on the other hand, has a car full of illegal's and the crew chief has been punished numerous times over the past few years because of it. He has been the most penalized crew-chief for rule violoations over the past few years than any other team. I'm not a fan of Jimmy Johnson, or any one else who repeatedly cheats.
