I know that this is premature, but what if Jr and Truex both opt for Jr Motorsports, will Menard be far behind ? Could it be possible that this could be the end of DEI as we have known it ?

From the looks of it Dale Jr. and Truex Jr. may leave DEI next year and get JR Motorsports up and running. Menard may go with them or he may stay with DEI. But it definitely looks like the end of DEI as we know it.

There were rumors earlier that if Jr/Truex left that Teresa might sell the company to the Menard family. There is no way that DEI could ever operate successfully with her at the helm.

There is no doubt DEI's as a team has been stuggling over the past few years. I really beleive Jr. would like to go to RCR. I heard him mention Childress many times in the past. I'm sure RCR would have no problem adding another car for Jr. Toyota has some deep pockets and the money would be tempting, just look at what toyota spent to pry Vickers from Hendrick. Jr will stay with chevy if he moves. If Jr goes, DEI is dead and Jr would have real sucess with RCR.

DEI will be DOA Next year. Close the doors and sell out to Jr Motorsports for pennies on the dollar

i just hope that the eureys are going with him also. he is going to have Hendricks engine, now we know why he jumped in the #5 car, Jr, is a smart boy,i think DEI will have to start all over again, but remember JR Motorsport will be on the bottom again 2008 is going to be very int resting

DEI is going to suffer from Teresa's mistakes and nobody any good is going to want to drive for her if they know she isn't going to put them in good equipment so i see her selling the company in 5 years maybe to JR Motorsports,by the way who owns Jr Motorsports.

I'd think DEI will be sold,, no need for her to let it go to nothing and she has no idea how to run DEI anyways. Too bad she didn't just sell it to Jr.

It'll be the end of DEI for now. Who thinks Teressa is happy now? I think Dale JR. made the right decision. Now he can concentrate on winning! Luck to him!!!!

yes it is its the end of DEI..ans watch for Jr and sis to buy DEI real soon because it will be sold because Dale was DEI and i bet he is rolling over in his gave many many many times
