He was good enough in 2003, gave it away in 2004... has never been back to that level since... Will Dale Jr ever win the Nextel Cup?

Not without the support he so badly needs. It isn't helping that there is so much drama with DEI and his stepmom. Somehow all of that needs to be fixed ASAP so that he can concentrate on racing.
I am one who truly believes Dale Sr set up DEI to be passed on to Dale Jr. Too bad that hasn't happened.

If DEI can step it up to the level that they had in 2003-2004 seasons, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. very well could be a threat to win a championship. If he has luck with that season, he is talented enough to win a championship.

I don't think Jr will win a Nextel Cup even if he were to drive for RCR, he's just an average driver. Don't blame Teresa, she is not the one driving the car and as far as Hendrick winning with the COT, they are smarter than others to figure out the details of the car. Jr is nowhere near the driver his father was, period. Jr is popular yes, but popularity doesn't win you a championship, being a good driver and winning races does. I am tired of all the excuses I hear about races being fixed if your driver doesn't win, BS. Hendrick drivers are the best.

Sure why not. I think he should concentrate on being the best driver and not worry so much about the business end of it. His father gave the business to his wife for a reason. Perhaps he should learn from his father and do the driving up front!
His turn will come. He is a young guy still.

He might with the right team like Hendricks, Gibbs, or Childress. I don't think he will the cup while at DEI.

He has plenty of talent to win but DEI just doesnt have the equipment to make it happen right now. If he gets control of DEI or goes to RCR yeah he will win at least 1.

I think that depends. If he stays with DEI I don't foresee him having the equipment to win the championship. If he drives for RCR, I predict he will win at least one championship.

i would like to see him win a championship with dei but i think the only way he will win a championship is to drive for richard childress.

Sure will - that is why he is trying to get DEI from his wicked stepmom.
He will get there with a solid team - eather by taking control of DEI or going to Childress or Hendrick (Both long time Pal's of his dad, and dad drove for both).
