Right now, Hendrick's biggest competition would be a toss-up between RCR and Joe Gibbs Racing.

RCR would definitely be a good guess considering they were the only other chevy team to score wins this season. I would have to say that Gibbs is my answer because up until two races ago, Stewart still had led more laps than either Gordon or Johnson. External forces have been the reason that Hamlin and Stewart have not been able to win a race this season.

Without question, Joe Gibbs racing. Especially with the CoT. Tony Stewart may be a big mouthed jerk but he is a talented driver. And it's just a matter of time before Denny Hamlin wins again.
Joe Gibbs and Rick Hendrick both know how to recruit the best available people.

RCR and Gibbs... I wish I could say DEI, but they just don't have the equipment to roll consistently with those guys

Joe Gibbs Racing. Without a doubt. They are the only other team that has been really competitive, if not for some bad luck and problems they would have atleast 2 wins right now, probably more.

Not just RCR, but also Roush - Fenway & DEI. at least that's my opinion!
However, if you go to Hendrick's website Jeff Gordon is quoted as "Our teammates may be our biggest competition..." about Daytona.
