NASCAR

Ok now that this may be Jr's last year in the #8 I'm more determined than ever to make it to the Texas or Phoenix race.
(Yes patheticly I've never been to a race)

I have a few questions, so if you can help a rookie out I'd appreciate it.

1. My best friends have a 5th wheel so they suggested we go in that, but I'm concerned that if we're not on the outskirts (like right against the track) we won't be able to see anything, even if we climb up on the roof of the RV.
A)Will we still need to buy stand tickets?
B)When they say the price is $150. is that per day and what does that get you?
C)What kind of hook ups do they offer?
2. Considering the price of gas, would it be better to fly to TX and stay with my brother ( He lives in Kennedale, TX) and watch the race from the stands?
3. Which is better, the Texas or the Phoenix race track?
4.How much spending money do you estimate we need?
Given the choice would you go RVing or watch from the stands?

I would take Jimmie Johnson, he is first in wins, top 5s, top 10s and average finishing position/ranking since 2002 (the stats for the last 5 years are in the link below). Please tell me who you would take and why.

Their team would have a monopoly on the fans, wouldn't they? Would people stop hating on Jeff and Jimmie because they're better than other drivers?
Even if you don't like Jeff or Jimmie, what do you think would happen if ONE team had 3 such powerful drivers?
Would people change their likes/dislikes? Would they stop watching NASCAR because they'd know who was going to win every race?

for me, all i can think of, a track with a sky dome. it would be Nascars first indoor racetrack. just imagine, D.W. saying, "Boogity, Boogity, Boogity. We're racing at the Nascar Dome Boys"

Dale Jarrett had a long streak broken when he failed to make the Richmond race. He will most likely miss much of the rest of the season because a driver can't get into the Top 35 without running in races. Last place gets 34 points. A non qualifier fets 0.

Nascar often post the manufacturers position during a race. But since the cars are tube framed and thin sheet metal, is a Ford or Chevy or Dodge actually a Ford, Chevy or a Dodge? Are the engines or transmissions maufacturers parts? I know that NASCAR stands for "stock car" and in the past the cars realy were stock cars but is that at all true today?

i watched the race and listen to post race show on sirius rado for 3 hours so why is it that the only topic of conversation is dale earnhardt and jeff gordon and hendrick motor sports.
